About Us

History

The foundation stone of SRI GURU RAM DAS CHARITABLE HOSPITAL was laid by Dr. Neelam Sanjiva Reddy the then president of India on 17th October, 1977 to commemorate Amritsar Quarter – Centenary Foundation day. This hospital started with a small dispensary and later burgeoned to a Charitable hospital followed by Dental(1993), Medical (1997), Cancer (1997) & Nursing (2001) Institutes. The hospital amalgamates clinical, biomedical and empathic attitude to promote health and well being of patients and the community.

The hospital provides facilities such as dispensary and task force in Golden Temple for first aid, free service to poor, needy and tourists visiting Golden Temple. The hospital provides quality healthcare service to marginalized and under privileged population with humanitarian spirit.
